Terminology & UX Standardization
Web App
Standardized custom encryption terminology to Vault Key across all platforms, implemented accessible ConfirmModals, and introduced structured DocsStep walkthroughs in the documentation.
#Terminology & UX Standardization
We've deployed a comprehensive UI/UX polish across the web dashboard, settings, and documentation portal to make the platform feel more cohesive and native.
#Highlights
- Vault Key Terminology: Standardized all references of "passphrase", "master password", and "custom encryption key" to Vault Key across the Web, CLI, and MCP products.
- Accessible Confirm Modals: Replaced all jarring native browser alerts with beautiful, animated custom
ConfirmModalcomponents that support keyboard navigation and focus trapping. - DocsStep Walkthroughs: Upgraded the documentation portal with structured timeline walkthroughs, making setup guides and tutorials much easier to follow visually.
Note
Custom Vault Keys are never stored on our servers. They are derived locally in your browser memory via PBKDF2 during active sessions.
