apivault logout

The apivault logout command revokes this device's token and signs the CLI out.

Usage

LogoutShell
apivault logout

Revokes the token on the server and deletes ~/.apivault/token.json. If the server cannot be reached, the local token is still deleted. Your saved config is left in place.

Signing out other devices

logout only affects the device it runs on. To revoke the CLI on another machine, use Settings → Sessions & Devices in the web app. MCP connections are separate and are not signed out.

Service tokens

logout refuses to run while APIVAULT_TOKEN is set. Service tokens are revoked from the project's Service Tokens page — see auditing and revoking.

Global options

apivault logout also accepts the global options.
